Isabelle Faucher is a sculptor specializing in bronze.

She is a former wildlife biologist with a particular interest and training in behaviour and she sees sculpting as an extension of studies in behaviour.
Isabelle seeks her inspiration from observing living things, which includes subjects as diverse as children, horses, or marine invertebrates, how they move, and how they interact with their environment and with each other.

In her sculptures, Isabelle tries to capture the particular expression of her subject, in a dynamic rather than static state. Isabelle uses different patinas to convey colour and thus to add an emotional dimension. Isabelle travels a lot, has lived in North America, West Africa and Europe, and impressions from these travels heavily influence her work.
